New Zealander Plays 237 Holes of Golf in Under 12 Hours
Carrying only a six-iron, Brad Luiten ran a total of 60 miles over the course of 11 hours and 20 minutes to play just over 13 rounds of golf in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record, which is currently set at 221 holes of golf. The feat, which was accomplished at the Helensville District Golf Club in Kaukapakapa, New Zealand, has not yet been verified.

Rodney Hahn, a 54-year-old personal trainer at the Virginia Beach, Va. club, spent Sunday, September 13 setting the records for most pull-ups in 12 hours (4,310) and 24 hours (6,737), smashing the second mark by more than 900. His feats are in the process of being certified by the Guinness World Records organization.

Traditions Club Builds World’s Largest Gingerbread House
At more than 39,000 sq. ft. and 36 million calories, the gingerbread house at the Bryan, Texas club is officially the largest in the world, surpassing the previous record holder by more than 3,000 sq. ft. The structure was built outdoors, and is mostly composed of bricks of gingerbread lathered in frosting, with two chimneys to add volume, candy stained-glass windows and 2,500 pounds of lollipops and candy canes to garnish the exterior.
