Daily-fee play at the former Ballymeade Country Club in Falmouth, Mass. is set to begin after a full reconstruction of the golf course. A new practice facility has also been developed. The master plan calls for resort-type amenities including golf villas and cottages and an open-air event pavilion.
The former Ballymeade Country Club in Falmouth, Mass., is adding tee boxes, widening and reshaping fairways, constructing putting greens and new green complexes, updating bunkers, and relocating the practice facility closer to the clubhouse. In 2015, the property revealed renovations to its clubhouse.
The Falmouth, Mass., property spent $2 million on renovations to the building 10 years ago, but has opted to demolish and rebuild the structure, which was built in 1921, with new fire hydrants, improved access for emergency vehicles, and increased lighting along the driveway.
