Eagle Valley GC Purchased by School District
The Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation bought the Evansville, Ind., property, located on 135.1 acres across from the future McCutchanville Elementary School, for $3,377,500. The property will continue to operate as a golf course for at least the next three years, and will then be reviewed on an annual basis.

The Taylor Made horse farm has no relation to the golf club equipment maker, but when the opportunity arose to buy a neighboring golf club, a plan was hatched to create a new income stream by using it to help spur interest in thoroughbred horse racing.
Helfrich Hills GC to Renovate, Add Restaurant
The historic Evansville, Ind., property will open the club to the public and add a restaurant called Toast, which will serve breakfast, lunch, and alcohol, with a soft opening planned for February.
