The “MacKenzie-Dye Experience” will now allow golfers not affiliated with the school to play the Alister MacKenzie-designed “stadium” or “blue” course as well as Radrick Farms GC, Pete Dye’s first 18-hole design. The program is expected to have “bucket list” appeal, especially for those who want to play the courses as part of a football weekend.
The Denver-based aerial photography company that produces high-resolution stills and HD fly-throughs for golf courses, is now offering images for licensing and/or purchasing through its complete Golf Aerial Library. Clubs featured in the library include The Olympic Club, Cypress Point Club and Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.
In recognition of the PGA’s “Family Golf Month,” a selection of American Mensa members, who cite golf as their favorite sport, were asked to share what they think are the best golf courses in America. Following Augusta National in the high IQ society’s top 10 are Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Alotian Club, Bandon Dunes, and Cypress Point Club.
