After being closed for five years, new ownership of the 7,500-yard course that is bordered by the Bridger-Teton National Forest has spent $5 million to replace all greens with bent grass and restore all bunkers. As part of enlarging practice facilities, a new short-game practice green was created.
Atlanta-based Cygnus Capital Real Estate Advisors has launched a multi-million dollar reinvestment plan for the private, 554-acre Jackson Hole, Wyo., club. Renovation details include the completion of a 26,000-sq. ft. clubhouse facility, with plans for reopening a Tom Weiskopf golf course, family-focused amenities, and a collection of turnkey luxury cabins in 2014.
Atlanta-based investment firm Cygnus Capital Real Estate Advisors acquired the Jackson Hole, Wyo., property in February and has already invested $11.5 million. A $2 million golf course redesign by Tom Weiskopf that will include a short game area is expected to be complete by next May.
