The 100-year-old club with 500 active members has the only rink in the state that is dedicated strictly to curling, but that facility is “basically an old animal shed,” according to General Manager David Scaer. The club is now pursuing zoning approval to create two new buildings that would double the rink’s size and add a curling lane. A new pro shop and golf simulator center are also part of the proposed plans.
