The Fort Washingon, Md. property features the East Coast’s only Ted Robinson Signature 18-hole championship golf course, and a 24,000-sq. ft clubhouse with a banquet capacity for over 250 people. The listing price is $4 million.

Brian Quinn, a former touring pro now in his llth season as head men’s coach at Philadelphia’s Temple University, is part of a new corporation formed to acquire Plymouth Country Club in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., which will now be rebranded as The 1912 Club, in recognition of the year it was founded. The club features a William Flynn-designed golf course that will now be renovated under the direction of Ron Prichard.

Owner Mike McCaw hopes to identify a new owner for the Cincinnati, Ohio property by summer, but is still preparing the Arthur Hills-designed course for the 2018 season. The club is surrounded by a community of over 600 homes and a conservation easement would prohibit its sale for further home development.

The nearly 100-year-old Wilmington, Del. club’s 525-acre property with 54 holes of golf has already attracted serious interest from “a mix of golf course operators, high-net-worth individuals and corporations not normally associated with country clubs,” those close to the sale report. After the bidding is closed, a long process before an agreement can be reached is expected.
