Top 50 Kids’ Teachers Of 2017 Named by U.S. Kids Golf
The recognition program for the world’s most outstanding youth instructors is dominated by golf staff professionals at U. S. club and resort properties, including 15 who achieved Master Kids Teacher status for now having made the Top 50 list three times. All of the winners will be recognized with a special presentation on January 24th at the PGA Show.
Caddies Make Resurgence at CommonGround GC
The Aurora, Colo., golf course’s Solich Caddie and Leadership Academy currently has 45 eighth- and ninth-graders as caddies, and has tutored more than 100 caddies since the program began in 2012. The academy, the only program of its kind in the area at a public course, is part of an effort by the Colorado Golf Association to keep caddies in the game.
