Top 50 Kids’ Teachers Of 2017 Named by U.S. Kids Golf

The recognition program for the world’s most outstanding youth instructors is dominated by golf staff professionals at U. S. club and resort properties, including 15 who achieved Master Kids Teacher status for now having made the Top 50 list three times. All of the winners will be recognized with a special presentation on January 24th at the PGA Show.


Two Golf Lawsuits Filed in Grand Strand

Patrick Wilkinson, former head professional and General Manager of Black Bear Golf Club in Longs, S.C., is suing the course’s owners and operators for unpaid wages and pro shop revenue. Former Swing Thought Tour executive Ryan Waters is suing the tour’s parent company, claiming he has not been paid for work performed and the resulting commissions.


Chinese Investor Plans Pineland CC Purchase

Kang Zou, who bought Black Bear Golf Club in Longs, S.C., earlier this year with his parents, is now negotiating the purchase of the Nichols, S.C., property. Pineland has an asking price of $699,000 and includes 260 acres.


Black Bear GC Sold for $1.5M
