Injecting energy into its facilities, amenities and membership mix has kept 122-year-old Greenville (S.C.) CC in step with the transformation of its namesake city.
The event, set to take place at the Johns Creek, Ga., property June 9-11, matches top male college golfers in the U.S. against Europe in a Ryder Cup-style tournament. The event will include a Junior Clinic and Golf Exhibition on June 7, and is free and open to the public.
The PGA of America’s charitable foundation will team with the SVJI Sports Foundation to hold the tournament for the world’s top-ranked junior golfers at the Graniteville, S.C. club in April, two weeks after the Masters.
