The Ocean Pines Association of Ocean City, Md. has negotiated a two-year contract with Matt Ortt Companies, a Berlin, Md.-based restaurant development and management company that has operated a variety of fine- and casual-dining establishments, including TGI Fridays and Hooters. The contract does not apply to the Tern Grille at the Association’s country club.
The Edwards, Colo., property earned the honor through Troon’s annual awards. Brian Kelley of Manchester Country Club in Bedford, N.H., won “General Manager of the Year” and Jeff Cathey of Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Fla., earned “Superintendent of the Year.”
Traditional Golf Properties has listed for sale Royal New Kent Golf Club and the Brickshire Golf Club, both in Providence Forge, Va., and the Golf Club at Stonehouse in Toano, Va., for an undisclosed asking price. River Run Golf Club and River Run Golf Club Community in Berlin, Md., are both also on the market, and can be purchased separately.

The awards are based on academic achievement, community involvement, extracurricular activities and leadership skills.
