Aiden Mitchem, Skylar Reis, and Nicolas Robinson are facing charges of arson, criminal trespass, and vandalism after the fire started near the pro shop at the Jackson, Tenn., property on August 11, 2015. Damage to the golf course totaled more than $250,000.
Travis Michael Pierce has been charged with two counts of arson to a structure and burglary of an unoccupied structure in connection to two fires at the shuttered Altamonte Springs, Fla., golf course on January 1 and 4. The property has been closed for more than a year.
Paul Forner pleaded guilty to setting the fire that destroyed the single-story clubhouse on the property. Laura Cooke, the club’s Manager of Operations, made a victim impact statement during the hearing, saying employees spent months resurrecting the building’s beauty.
Paul Forner, 51, has pleaded guilty to one count of attempted aggravated arson, and will be sentenced in November. The fire began on the morning of March 12 earlier this year and consumed the single-story clubhouse, resulting in a “total loss.”
