The Chicago golf course will host more than 100 FootGolf players in the 36-hole tournament on October 3. The stroke-play tournament is a qualifier for the FootGolf World Cup to be played at Pilar Golf Club in Argentina on January 6-10, 2016.
Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course, owned by Chicago Park District Golf and managed by Billy Casper Golf (BCG), will host more than 100 FootGolf players to compete in the first annual U.S. FootGolf National Championship on October 3.
Kicking off at 8 a.m., the 36-hole, stroke-play tournament is open to all players; divisions, classes and flights will be determined once competition begins. Entry is $59 for American FootGolf League members and $79 for non-members which includes a one-year AFGL membership. Proper golf attire is required and competitors must supply their own soccer ball.
