Saputo USA Launches New Foodservice Web Site

Saputo Cheese USA has introduced a new Web site highlighting its enhanced commitment to support the foodservice industry (www.saputousafoodservice.com ). The user-friendly site showcases Saputo USA Foodservice’s branded line of aged specialty cheeses. A robust recipe idea center offers complete ingredient and preparation information for entrées, salads, appetizers and pizzas.

E-Z-GO Opens Factory Showroom

Golf car manufacturer E-Z-GO has opened a factory showroom in Summerfield, Fla. (20 minutes from Ocala), featuring a variety of vehicles in an environment similar to a luxury automobile dealership. The spacious, comfortable setting includes on-site service and a wide array of accessories and parts.

The showroom includes floor space to display up to 40 vehicles. E-Z-GO’s Freedom Personal Golf Cars, ST Trail Utility Vehicles, Shuttle Personnel Carriers and the full line of E-Z-GO accessories will be for sale. The site will also feature a complete parts and service department plus a refurbishing center, where E-Z-GO owners may have their cars painted, refinished or outfitted with an array of components.

Agilysys to Acquire Visual One Systems
Agilysys, Inc., a provider of computer technology solutions, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Visual One Systems Corporation, a privately held company with U.S. headquarters in Frederick, Md. Visual One Systems develops and markets software for the hospitality industry, covering property management, golf course, spa, point-of-sale, and sales and catering management applications. The acquisition will be funded by cash and is expected to close in late January 2007 subject to, among other things, the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. Visual One Systems has annual revenues of approximately $9 million and operating income margins of approximately 15 percent.

EGCOA Names Club Car Preferred Supplier
The European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA) has named Club Car its preferred supplier of golf cars and turf/utility vehicles. The agreement was finalized at the first EGCOA conference held recently in Amsterdam. In the U.S., Club Car is the exclusive premier partner of the National Golf Course Owners Association, which includes owners of more than 6,200 courses.

Green Friendly Golf Partners with SFX Golf
Green Friendly Golf, a producer of golf accessories, has signed an agreement with the sports agency SFX Golf, whose roster includes renowned golfers, such as Tom Lehman, John Daly, and Juli Inkster. SFX’s pros will wear the Green Friendly Golf Belt with its unique divot tool on the underside of the belt tip.
