The app shows off the club with a slideshow highlighting facilities the private country club offers its resident members.
St. Andrews Country Club, Boca Raton, Fla., released a free branded iPhone app to attract new members and as a fresh way to communicate events and activities to its current membership. The app is available in the iTunes App Store.
“The app is the latest way for St. Andrews CC to reach current and future members. It is important to connect with members in a way that is most accessible, and since many people now receive information through their phones and mobile devices, that’s where we need to be,” said Roy Schwedelson, President of St. Andrews CC. “An app for Android devices will be released soon.”
Users can view upcoming events, read the latest news, and peruse maps of both 18-hole championship courses, Palmer and Olde.
Craig Martin, St. Andrews CC COO/GM noted, “Launching an iPhone app allows us to globally communicate the member experience found at St. Andrews CC. By strategically using ‘Push’ notification technology we can call attention to events and activities our members routinely enjoy while elevating our brand relevance.”
