“Many new upgrades are underway to enhance the golf course experience,” states Matt Pobloske, who has signed the lease agreement to open Spider Lake Golf Resort in Hayward, Wis., Dryden Wire reported. “I am very excited to build upon the dedication and golf legacy of the entire Titus family.”
Pobloske, whose group is Moose Lake Companies, has already brought in four new course crew members who have worked at top golf resorts in Arizona and are enrolled at the University of Arizona, School of Golf Course Management, Dryden Wire reported.
Jilliana Stopani, a PGA Instructor, is joining the team. She will also assist with the clubhouse operations and work to expand instruction, twilight play, tournaments, and leagues.
Plans are also in place to spruce up the clubhouse and enhance the bar service and offerings, Dryden Wire reported. While Pobloske would have liked to open earlier this year, the paperwork took a bit longer since it was tied in with agreements to purchase both the former Telemark Golf Course and Spider Lake Golf Resort.
The two-bedroom, two-bath, full kitchen and living room apartments are now available for short term rental and longer (30-day, 90-day to yearly leases), Dryden Wire reported. They are located on Clear Lake with decks and patios from each unit overlooking the lake. They come fully furnished and with weekly or bi-weekly maid service.
Pobloske has been coming to Moose Lake for summers since his childhood, Dryden Wire reported. He inherited his grandfather’s cabin and considers Hayward his home. He also owns several pieces of commercial real estate in Hayward and he has a great love and dedication for the area.
Pobloske’s group, Moose Lake Companies, is working in partnership with Resorts of the Northwoods to develop a destination resort complex.
