Cog Hill Golf and Country Club, Lemont, Ill., announced that Scott Pavalko has been named Golf Course Superintendent. He will work with long-time superintendent Ken Lapp to provide excellent playing conditions on Cog Hill’s four courses, including the nationally-ranked Dubsdread. Lapp, 75, has worked for the Jemsek family for 64 years and spent the last 38 years at Cog Hill. His knowledge, dedication and commitment to excellence made Cog Hill one of top public golf facilities in the country.
Pavalko, 31, comes to Cog Hill after having worked at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio for eight years, the last two as assistant golf course superintendent.
