Sauk Centre CC’s membership will move to the GreyStone GC site to take advantage of the property’s 18-hole golf course. A developer has purchased the former Sauk Centre Country Club, with plans to build patio homes along the nine-hole golf course, WJON reported.
Sauk Centre Country Club Board President Loren Beste said that when the GreyStone Golf Club and Lynx National Golf Course were built in the late 1990’s, their membership numbers went down dramatically. The club hopes to attract more tournaments and business gatherings through the purchase, WJON reported.
The general public will not notice any changes, Beste said, because GreyStone Golf Club will still be open for public play, WJON reported.
