The 32,000-sq. ft. facility in Venice, Fla., includes the 13,167-sq. ft. main clubhouse, including The Palm Club, which offers a full-service dining room with adjacent bar and lounge, a library, coffee room, meeting room and multipurpose room. A new 7,356-sq. ft. fitness center and updated outdoor amenities, including a resort-style pool and event lawn, have been completed as well.
More than 250 Sarasota National Golf Club residents celebrated the completion of the new three-building, 32,000-sq. ft. clubhouse at the 2,400-acre master-planned community in Venice, Fla.
The Mediterranean Revival-inspired Sarasota National clubhouse features indoor and al fresco dining along with amenities to suit a variety of resident interests. In the 13,167-sq. ft. main clubhouse, The Palm Club offers a full-service dining room with adjacent bar and lounge. A library, coffee room, meeting room and multipurpose room also are available for resident use.
The new fitness center features strength training and cardio equipment, two group fitness studios, spa treatment rooms and locker rooms within 7,356 sq. ft. Outdoor amenities include an expansive, resort-inspired pool with a beach entry, lap lanes, spa, and tropical-themed poolside tiki bar. Resident activities will be held on the 8,000-sq. ft. event lawn, located near the community’s tennis courts, bocce and pickleball courts, and separate dog park.
The club’s 18-hole Gordon Lewis-designed championship golf course is certified as an Audubon International Signature Sanctuary, and golf facilities include a pro shop, driving range, and chipping and putting greens.
