With drops of 20 percent and 26 percent (due in part to an average four fewer play days), the Midwest had the steepest declines in the nation. Because the Upper and Lower Midwest have more than 5,000 facilities combined, they account for nearly a quarter of October rounds volume, and were responsible for the overall 6.7 percent decrease.
