To accompany its recently redesigned golf course, the Naples, Fla., property will update its clubhouse by modernizing the golf shop, locker rooms, meeting rooms, common areas, exterior elements, and the Rookery Grill.
The Rookery at Marco will undergo a major clubhouse renovation after its golf course was recently redesigned by Robert Cupp, Jr.
Designed by Tom Hoch, the clubhouse project features a blend of high-energy spaces and timeless themes and décor. Indoor and outdoor areas will merge to create al fresco dining taking advantage of the South Florida weather.
The golf shop will be fully modernized to meet the needs of today’s players, creating an efficient and enjoyable retail experience. Locker rooms, meeting rooms, common areas and exterior elements will be updated, and the Rookery Grill will be upgraded to include a separate lounge area for guests and members.
The design and build phases will take place in the spring and summer with completion targeted for the fall. Hoch and his team recently completed a similar project at nearby sister course, Hammock Bay, and designed the original interior for The Rookery at Marco clubhouse in 2006. Both courses are amenities of the acclaimed Marco Island Beach Resort near Naples, Fla.
“This renovation of The Rookery at Marco will enhance the customer’s experience from the first touch point to the last,” says Hoch. “We look forward to delivering on the vision of this special property.”
