Daniel Hawkins of The Club at Flying Horse will be the new President of the Colorado superintendents group.
Daniel Hawkins, GCSAA Class A superintendent at The Club at Flying Horse in Colorado Springs, Colo. was elected President of the Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association (RMGCSA) at the group’s 2011 Annual Meeting, which was held at Ptarmagin Country Club in Fort Collins, Colo., on October 10th.
Other Officers and Directors elected at the meeting included:
• Steve Sarro, GCSAA Class A superintendent at Pinehurst Country Club, Denver, Vice President;
• Edward Rockett, GCSAA Class A superintendent at Lone Tree Golf Course, Littleton, Colo., Secretary/Treasurer;
• Zachary Bauer, Superintendent Member at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo.,
Richard Rainford, GCSAA Class A superintendent at Cherokee Ridge Golf Course, Colorado
Springs, Colo., and Matthew Rusch, Applewood Golf Course, Golden, Colo. were each
elected to two-year Director terms.
