Rock Manor Golf Course—owned by the City of Wilmington, Del. and leased by Billy Casper Golf (BCG)—will host “Customer Appreciation Day” on Saturday, August 22, featuring reduced greens fees, contests and discount merchandise.
Early risers will be rewarded with $20 back-nine greens and cart fees beginning at 6 AM. Greens and cart fees will be $45 between 7:30 AM and noon, and $35 after noon. Each golfer will receive a free greens-fee voucher—valid anytime Monday through Friday and after 1 PM on weekends and holidays—for his or her next round through September 24, 2009.
Beat-the-pro, long-drive and closest-to-the-pin contests will run all day, with prizes including golf clubs and pro-shop gift cards. Rock Manor will extend discounts of 15 percent for all non-sale items in the pro shop. A night golf tournament kicks-off at 8 PM, and the $45 registration includes golf and dinner buffet.
“Rock Manor is happy to say ‘thank you’ to area golfers for their continued support,” says General Manager Steve Brady. “We’re proud the course is part of golfers’ steady recreational diets, and are confident they’ll enjoy the fun of these Customer Appreciation Day activities.”
