Landscapes Golf Management has been selected to operate River Run Country Club, the exclusive, private community featuring an 18-hole, championship golf course, and popular sports campus and event spaces in Davidson, N.C., 30 minutes north of Charlotte.
The company will oversee all aspects of River Run’s business, including, sales, marketing, staffing and training, programming and special events, property maintenance, merchandising, restaurant and banquet activities, technology and financial management.

River Run’s roughly 800 members play the club’s Robert Walker-Raymond Floyd-designed, par-72 golf course that stretches from 5,027 to 7,317 yards. River Run hosted Web.com and Symetra Tour events, and a world-class practice facility and PGA instruction round out the golf offerings.
The club’s sports campus is also popular. Sports members are active on its six pickleball courts and 16 hard and clay, indoor and outdoor tennis courts that hosts USTA events and a popular junior tennis academy. A state-of-the art fitness center boasts Peloton, Versa Climber and Life Fitness equipment, and certified trainers conduct group classes and individual performance training sessions. Swimming activities occur in a junior, Olympic-size pool complimented by a lazy river, three water slides and the River Rapids swim team comprising more than 200 kids each summer.
