The senior finance executive, who has 21 years of experience in leading multinational companies, including Group Danone and The Coca-Cola Company, will oversee all financial and information technology matters from PGA headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

The PGA of America has named Rhona Aime as its new Chief Financial Officer. Aime will oversee all financial and information technology matters pertaining to the world’s largest sports organization from PGA headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

As a senior finance executive with 21 years of experience in leading multinational companies in North America, South America and Europe, Aime most recently held various regional roles with Group Danone, a Paris-based multinational food-products corporation. From 2001 to 2011 she managed all aspects of finance for Group Danone, with titles that included Vice President Finance, Latin America Dairy and Beverage Divisions; and Vice President Finance, Dairy Americas region.

“I’m delighted to join The PGA of America and lead the finance function in such an established and renowned association,” said Aime. “It’s a privilege to be part of any organization that promotes sport, but especially a sport that is as popular, far-reaching and steeped in history as golf. I’m very eager to be part of the team who are driving the exciting initiatives to promote this wonderful game.”

Prior to joining Group Danone, she spent nearly 12 years with The Coca-Cola Company in roles ranging from principal auditor, to finance director of Coca Cola Netherlands, to director of planning and corporate finance for the Brazil Division, to director of value management resources.
