Designed to accommodate eight guests, each cottage features four bedrooms, a full kitchen, two open living spaces and a porch area. The lodging is part of the recently completed National Village, which is part of a $40 million investment in the Greensboro, Ga., facility since August 2012.
The new National Club Cottages, adjacent to the Tom Fazio-designed National Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Ga., are ready for golf groups this fall.
Part of the recently completed National Village, which includes the National Tavern, the eight Club Cottages overlook the short-game practice facility at the National Course, one of five layouts available to Reynolds Lake Oconee guests.
Designed to comfortably accommodate eight, each Club Cottage features four bedrooms, 4½ baths, and a full kitchen, as well as two open living spaces and an expansive porch area. The interiors feature neutral color palettes, natural woods, and modern touches throughout.
“I have had the good fortune of staying in some of the best golf cottages in the country and the new National Club Cottages rank up there with the best,” said Mark Lammi, Vice President, Golf Operations. “The ability to have a world class practice facility, lighted putting green and the National Tavern all within a short walk completes the ultimate golf experience.”
The National Village is the newest attraction at Reynolds Lake Oconee, part of a $40 million investment in the lakeshore setting since being acquired by MetLife in August 2012. All six golf courses, including the members-only Creek Club, have undergone substantial improvements, as has The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, where rooms, cottages, restaurants, spa, and pools of have been redecorated and refurbished.
The National Tavern, the newest restaurant at Reynolds Lake Oconee, is the centerpiece of The National Golf Village, and a stone’s throw from the National Club Cottages. The craftsman-style farmhouse design, complete with a large stacked stone fireplace, creates a welcoming environment for residents and guests. The outdoor fire pit area, lighted practice putting green, and golf course views, are complemented by The Tavern’s casual open-air dining options.
Besides golf, Reynolds Lake Oconee offers fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, camping, picnicking, and water skiing. Other amenities include four full-service marinas and a tennis center, and The Ritz-Carlton, a 251-room lakefront resort and spa.
