Now under the management of longtime owner Greg Folkerson, the Harker Heights, Texas property recently remodeled and opened its Beyond Limits personal training center, overhauled and opened the tennis program to the public, and is creating new events and programs for families, including summer camps.
Peloton Ridge Country Club in Harker Heights, Texas is under new management, and held a grand opening on May 27 to showcase property updates, the Killeen, Texas Harker Heights Herald reported.
Greg Folkerson has been the owner of the property for the past decade. Ten years ago, Folkerson was looking for a place to conduct his business, Folkerson Communications, as well as a place to work out, but instead he found a place for fun activities within a community. Having various directors through the years, Folkerson is now the acting director and is revitalizing the club, the Herald reported.
“We remodeled and opened up Beyond Limits personal training, overhauled the tennis program and opened the courts to the public,” Folkerson said, who added they have more plans in the works.
Ben Eseroma, owner of Beyond Limits CrossFit in Lampasas, Copperas Cove, and now in Harker Heights at PRCC, is excited to bridge the gap between the gym and overall health and fitness, the Herald reported.
“Many households have a gym membership somewhere, but there isn’t any education. PRCC is a very great community to partner with to create personal fitness programs and making it fun,” Eseroma said.
Memberships for PRCC are tailored specific to a family or individual’s needs, offering fitness and personal nutrition plans tailored to individuals, the Herald reported.
Sandra Mallon, of Harker Heights and director of Marketing at PRCC, said they are working to build a community with the many different events and programs they have to offer, including fun summer camps and activities for children, the Herald reported.
A special ribbon cutting event will be held June 15. Peloton Ridge is a private club with a gym, tennis courts (now open to the public), saltwater pool, bistro, basketball, racquetball and sand volleyball courts, the Herald reported.
