Bentwood Country Club and Estates in San Angelo, Texas is undergoing a renovation headed by Tom Hoch.
Project highlights include: installation of an expansive outdoor terrace and veranda; a new restaurant and bar / lounge with exhibition kitchen; a wood-burning pizza oven and pizza dining area; and upgraded men’s and women’s locker rooms. The Hoch team will design and build the project, minimizing disruptions to members and streamlining the process.
“Tom understands the needs of our members and his vision will help pave the way for years of success and enjoyment at Bentwood Country Club,” said John Dunn, Bentwood Country Club Managing Partner. “The firm’s ability to both design and build the renovation is paramount to keep the project on time and on budget.”
Hoch has revolutionized the category via “revenue-based design,” a space planning, sizing and mapping process for retail spaces such as golf shops and food-and-beverage operations.
“By emphasizing dining and social spaces that enhance member interaction, Bentwood is reinventing the country club experience,” said Hoch. “The renovation is limited to the existing 15,000-sq. ft. clubhouse and immediate surrounds, with no additions to the building footprint.”
