The private Utah community unveiled its new swimming facility, which includes a resort-style pool complex, dressing rooms, full-service poolside restaurant and bar. A 144-foot water slide and water playground, two lanes for lap swimming, hot tub and pool deck that seats 300 highlight the new addition.
Red Ledges, the private, four-season Rocky Mountain golf and recreation community in Heber Valley, Utah—just outside of Park City—has unveiled the first phase of its new Village Center. C+RB featured Red Ledges as the November 2018 cover story.
Debuting as a family-focused hub for this premier active-lifestyle community, Phase I of the Village Center features a resort-style swimming pool complex, dressing rooms, full-service poolside restaurant and bar.
Highlights of the swimming pool include a 144-foot water slide and water playground, two lanes for lap swimming, hot tub, and pool deck that seats 300.
“Our members love bringing their kids and grandkids to play at the pool,” said Mitchel Burns, Chief Operating Officer, Red Ledges. “The kids have a blast on the water slide and invent countless ways to climb all over the water playground. The shallow beach entry makes it easy for little ones to join in the fun.”
Burns noted that there’s a jungle gym play area, plus ping pong, corn hole, snacks at the grill, and plenty of shaded seating outside the pool.
Adults can splash with the kids, or relax in the hot tub, enjoy drinks, lunch, or dinner with friends at the poolside bar and grill, or simply catch up on reading and e-mails from the comfort of a lounge in the shade.
The Village Center adds to the full array of recreational amenities at Red Ledges, which is celebrating the club’s 10th anniversary this year. In addition to its daily function as a summer gathering place for club members and guests, the Village Center will play host to the new Red Ledges Summer Concert Series, providing poolside seating and refreshments for concert guests as they enjoy monthly performances by popular local musicians in the natural amphitheater of the adjacent Golf Park.
“The opening of the Village Center pool complex is a perfect way to mark our first 10 years of Club operations,” said John Johnson, Club General Manager at Red Ledges. “As our growth continues, we continue to expand Club amenities to provide additional opportunities for members to share rich recreational and cultural experiences with neighbors, family, and friends. The vitality of this community is something that our members cherish.”
