The basketball star said President Obama’s golf game is in the toilet; the South Carolina Senator and possible Presidential candidate is under fire for a remark about “white men in male-only clubs”; and the Olympic decathlete is reportedly being harassed while trying to play golf at his club.
In an interview with Ahmad Rashad on the Back9Network, basketball legend and golf fanatic Michael Jordan was asked who would be in his dream foursome.
Jordan began his response with a pretty standard answer, Arnold Palmer, and then was quick to add that Rashad would not be in the group.
Then Jordan started to pick Barack Obama, because he’s never played with him. But he then changed his mind, calling the President a “hack,” and saying, “it would be all day playing with him.”
After Rashad asked if he really wanted to say that, Jordan responded, “I’ve never said he wasn’t a great politician…I’m just saying he’s a sh—y golfer.”

After the Jordan interview and comment went viral, TMZ.com reported that it called “dozens of golf courses in states where Obama has played” (none were identified) to try to verify the accuracy of Jordan’s assessment of the President’s game.
“It turns out ‘Barry’ ain’t too bad, turning in scores between 80 and 100 consistently,” TMZ.com reported. “Here are some of the reviews [we received]:
“[From] Virginia: “He plays anywhere in the 80s on average. He’s not horrible, but he certainly can’t keep up with the best.”
“[From] Maryland: “Our course is a little harder than the average one, and he hasn’t ever broken 100 here. He’s pretty awesome, though, to staff and visitors when he comes by—a perfect politician.”
“[From] Hawaii: “When he first started golfing, it was pretty rough. Surprisingly, though he’s gotten significantly better. It’s hit-or-miss with him, but he’s around average. You have to give him credit, though—it’s a lot of pressure to have everyone watching ”

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who is toying with the idea of a presidential bid, joked at a private gathering this month that “white men who are in male-only clubs are going to do great in my presidency,” according to an audio recording of his comments that were provided to CNN.
The audio snippet was provided to CNN by a South Carolina Democrat who received the recordings from a person using an anonymous Gmail address.
In the recording, Graham, who is favored in his race for re-election next against Democrat Brad Hutto, appears to joke about the possible 2016 presidential bid he recently floated in an interview.
“I’m trying to help you with your tax status,” Graham says. “I’m sorry the government’s so f—ed up. If I get to be president, white men in male-only clubs are going to do great in my presidency.” The crowd is then heard laughing.
After CNN contacted his campaign for re-election to the Senate in this November’s election, Graham said that he made the comments at a meeting of the Hibernian Society of Charleston (S.C.), an Irish-Catholic charity organization that sometimes hosts big-name politicians for irreverent and frequently bawdy speeches.
The Hibernian Society encourages speakers “to be earthy, to make fun of yourself, to make fun of them,” Graham told CNN. “Then you say something serious and sit down. And if you talk over 20 minutes, they throw something at you.”
“I hope this doesn’t reflect poorly on the club,” Graham told CNN. “They are great guys.”
Graham said he was making fun of the society’s all-male membership, joking that they were the last such organization in existence after Augusta National Golf Club admitted women.
The Hibernian Society hosts an annual St. Patrick’s Day banquet that, in the past, has been headlined by top political figures like Vice President Joe Biden and former Vice President Dick Cheney.
“I have never been to the Gridiron Dinner, but it’s a little like that,” Graham said.
His October visit to the society was a separate event, he said, but the spirit was the same.

Several media outlets have reported that Bruce Jenner, the Olympic decathlete who won a gold medal in the 1976 Montreal Games and whose celebrity was most recently renewed through his marriage to the former Kris Kardashian and the reality series, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” has been subjected to harassment recently while playing golf at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif., where he is a member.
After he separated from his wife in 2013, Jenner has changed his appearance dramatically, growing his hair long and undergoing what appears to be significant facial plastic surgery, which has also fueled speculation that he has been undergoing sex-change therapy.
The reports said one man threatened to cut off Jenner’s hair in the locker room, and another made a sexual reference, which Jenner was said to have laughed off.
