Polo Fields Golf and Country Club in Ann Arbor, Mich., reported on Sunday morning that a late-night joyrider damaged 11 flagsticks while riding a golf cart over the golf course and damaged some greens, AnnArbor.com reported.
According to a post on the Polo Fields’ Facebook page, a resident in the Polo Fields neighborhood heard a loud noise around 4 a.m. Sunday. The resident found people in a golf cart destroying his mailbox, who then fled when confronted, AnnArbor.com reported.
The man chased the golf cart, but lost them when they drove across a resident’s lawn and onto the golf course, according to the post. He reported there was alcohol on the golf cart and the people appeared to be drinking, AnnArbor.com reported.
No suspect information was available Tuesday afternoon, AnnArbor.com reported.
