Formerly known as The Inn at Pocono Manor, the resort, which is celebrating its 115th anniversary this year, is encouraging guests to “escape naturally,” focusing programming on its outdoor areas and Laurel Spa. The property also recently renovated a majority of its 240 guest rooms, introduced a new restaurant, and added an activity center and kids room.
The Inn at Pocono Manor, which is celebrating its 115th anniversary in 2017, has officially changed its name to Pocono Manor (Pa.) Resort & Spa.
“Pocono Manor is a hidden gem with an incredible array of recreational activities to offer families and couples,” said General Manager Dan Harris. “We’ve adopted a new tagline—escape naturally—to encourage guests to explore our incredible outdoors as well as find serenity and rejuvenation at our Laurel Spa.”
Laurel Spa has 14 treatment rooms, offering everything from therapeutic massages and facials to hydro therapy soaks and body wraps, as well as a range of spa packages for skincare, nail care, and more.
The new name follows the recent appointment of management company Highgate. As part of its evolution, Pocono Manor Resort & Spa recently renovated a majority of its 240 guest rooms, introduced a new restaurant, Little Pocono Pizzeria, and added an activity center and kids room for added indoor fun.
First opened in 1902, Pocono Manor Resort & Spa is a year-round retreat for couples and families. Surrounded by miles of mountain scenery, guests can explore wooded trails by foot, bike, or horseback; they can play golf on the 18-hole, masterpiece East Course, swim in the pools, and take advantage of a variety of outdoor experiences offered by the resort’s Manor Sports, such as archery, trap shooting, fishing, and more.
