Pinnacle will look to expand its portfolio by 10-12 courses in the next few years through acquisitions and contract management services.
Charlotte-based Pinnacle Golf Properties (PGP) Managing Partners David Taylor and Kim Worrel announce that Weaver Investment Company of Greensboro, N.C., has invested to become a Managing Partner in the golf management firm. Through this new partnership, Pinnacle Golf Properties will look to expand its portfolio by 10-12 courses in the next few years through acquisitions and contract management services.

Formed in 2002, Pinnacle Golf Properties offers turnkey management services and consulting to private, semi-private, resort, and daily-fee golf facilities within the southeastern United States. Pinnacle’s North and South Carolina portfolio stands at six courses located at five separate facilities. The firm manages Tega Cay (S.C.) Golf & Conference Center; Meadowlands Golf Club in Winston-Salem, N.C; Bryan Park Golf & Conference Center in Greensboro, N.C.; Stoney Creek (N.C.) Golf Club; and Green Valley Country Club in Greenville, S.C.
Founded in 1939 as the W. H. Weaver Construction Company in Greensboro, the Weaver Group has grown steadily over the years through strategic acquisitions and expansions of its own businesses.
