KemperSports has named David Buth to be General Manager of the highly anticipated Venetian Bay Country Club near Daytona Beach, Fla. Over the final months of 2007, Buth will supervise pre-opening club operations and then oversee facility operations upon the championship golf course’s debut, scheduled for early 2008.
Jennifer Pease has been promoted to General Manager at Marriott’s Mountain Valley Lodge at Breckenridge (Colo. ) Pease previously held the position of Director of Customer Experience at Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas, which she joined in 2005.
John Wash has been appointed President of Operations for the WanderersClub at Wellington (Fla.). (See pg. 42, “Bringing Course Improvements to Life”). Wash’s club management experience includes being General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Lochinvar Golf Club in Houston, where his expertise in financial planning and business development improved long-term membership growth and the club’s financial stability.
Honours Golf Company has announced that Chad Leonard will serve as the new General Manager of Rock Creek Golf Club, Fairhope, Ala.
Bradly Kaderabeck is the new Food and Beverage Director at Round Hill Country Club, Alamo, Calif. Previously he was Interim General Manager at Lone Tree Golf and Event Center; he has also been F&B Director for Castlewood and Blackhawk CCs.
Olde York Country Club in Chesterfield, N.J., has named Jeffrey De Lawder its new Executive Chef and Morgan Castagna as Sales Manager.
Daniel A. Foxworth is now the Director of Sales, Hospitality Division with Onity, a leading global provider of electronic locking systems.
E-Z-GO, a Textron Inc. company and manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, has named Jeff Feldman Regional Sales Representative for California. Feldman comes from ProLink Solutions,where he served as Regional Sales Executive the past four years.
