A 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry and Albuquerque native, Schiff has held the designation of Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive since 1991. He attended the University of New Mexico and is a Graduate of San Diego State University.|
|The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg, along with its management firm, WTS International, Inc., has selected Kate Mearns as Director of the Virginia property. Mearns is the current chairman of the International SPA Association and represents the spa industry in numerous speaking engagements, media events and partnership alliances worldwide.|
|Philadelphia Country Club, Gladwyne, Pa., has hired Nathan A. Wakefield, CSA, as its new Executive Chef. Wakefield was most recently Executive Chef with the Minneapolis Club, ranked the best city club in Minnesota and the seventh-best city club in the U. S.|
|Veteran contractor Rich Abbott has been named President of the newly opened Southeast Division of Frontier Golf, a Jones Mill, Pa.-based course construction company. Prior to joining Frontier, Abbott handled dozens of renovation projects across the Southeast, including Lexington (N.C.) Golf Club, which earned runner-up honors in Golf Inc. magazine's Renovation of the Year competition in 2004.|
E-Z-GO, a leading manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, has promoted Michael Parkhurst to the position of Vice President, Golf Channel and Branch Operations. Formerly the company’s Director of Golf Sales in the U.S., Parkhurst will assume responsibility for all domestic golf sales.
