ValleyCrest’s Top Super Kevin Neal, Superintendent at Anaheim (Calif.) Hills Golf Club, has been named “Superintendent of the Year” by ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance. Empire Golf Management has named David Fleming General Manager of Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. Fleming, former Operations Director of Horseshoe Bend Country Club (Atlanta), has served in a number of executive-level positions within the golf industry, including tenure with American Golf Corporation, where he managed operations for the company’s 24 golf properties in Texas and Oklahoma. | |||

InterContinental Hotels Group has made two appointments for the Montelucia Resort and Spa, the brand’s newest property located in Paradise Valley, Ariz.: Valeriano Antonioli has been named General Manager, and Greg Hanss will serve as Director of Sales and Marketing. | ||

Michael Hodgins has been named Director of Golf Operations at Hawk’s Landing Golf Club, in Orlando. Hodgins comes to Hawk’s Landing from Riverwood Resort in Mount Pleasant, Mich., where he served as Director of Operations and General Manager. Hodgins received the 2003 Horton Smith Award for excellence in education among fellow PGA members in the Michigan Section. | ||

Matthew O’Sullivan has been named Food and Beverage Director at Lake of Isles, located in North Stonington, Conn. (and featured in C&RB, June 2005). Prior to joining Lake of Isles, O’Sullivan was General Manager of two upscale restaurants, in New Haven, Conn. and New York. | ||
