The project at the Naples, Fla. property included a dining room expansion, the addition of new meeting spaces, and modernized restrooms, locker rooms and lounges.
Pelican Marsh Golf Club in Naples, Fla. has transformed its clubhouse through a $4.5 million renovation that include improvements in the functionality and overall environment of the two-story building. Specific major improvements included the expansion of the dining room, addition of new meeting spaces, and modernized restrooms, locker rooms and lounges.
“As we celebrate our 25thanniversary this season, we were delighted to recently unveil our stunning newly renovated clubhouse to our members and guests,” said General Manager and Chief Operating Officer Ron Parris.
In addition, the clubhouse exterior has been updated with new paint and Bahama shutters leading to a completely new front lobby. The clubhouse has transitioned away from its previous West Indies interior design look to one emphasizing casual elegance that is more reflective of the architecture of the building.
The golf club had been working since 2015 on a master plan that is now a reality, with input from a trio of Naples companies, BUILD LLC, Wegman Design Group and McWard Architects.
“These projects don’t happen overnight or in a vacuum,” said Parris. “There was outstanding collaboration between our professional team, Board of Governors, Property Committee, and membership to make this project a reality. Now along with our championship golf course, we now have a championship caliber clubhouse.”
Pelican Marsh, which has been member-owned for 12 years, completed a major golf course renovation in 2017 (https://clubandresortbusiness.com/pelican-marsh-gc-reopens-3-2m-renovation/). All of the projects have been executed without assessments or incurring long-term debt.
