The recognition from the South Florida chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers included projects at Sailfish Point (Best Clubhouse), Grey Oaks CC, The Breakers, PGA National and the Els Center for Excellence
Peacock + Lewis, the North Palm Beach, Fla.-based firm that specializes in architectural and interior-design projects for the private clubs, residential golf course communities and other segments of the hospitality industry, recently won several Design Excellence awards from the South Florida chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). The chapter is ASID’s second-largest in the country, covering a geographic area from the Florida Keys north to Vero Beach and west to Collier and Lee counties.
Specific Peacock + Lewis projects cited for recognition included awards in these categories:
- Hospitality Design – Best Clubhouse, for the clubhouse at Sailfish Point in Stuart, Fla.
- Outdoor Living (Detached Area), for exterior design at Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples, Fla.
- Best Spa Fitness Center, for the interior design at The Breakers spa facility in Palm Beach, Fla.
- Aging in Place, for work at Devonshire, high-end senior living facilities at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
- Institutional Design Award, for the Els Center for Excellence, a 27-acre, non-profit Exceptional Student Education school in Jupiter, Fla.
“I am honored and excited that our peers continue to recognize the quality of our work,” said Susan Bardin, Peacock + Lewis’ Director of Interior Design, after the announcement of the awards. “It’s an especially great honor given the size of our ASIS chapter and knowing how talented our design community is.
“Peacock + Lewis was extremely fortunate to be part of the exceptional teams that made these projects possible,” Bardin said.
