Terri Lee Rogers, President of the Ontario, Calif.-based manufacturer of outdoor furniture, won the award in the manufacturing category.
OW Lee, a manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture, fire pits, and accessories located in Ontario, Calif., announced today its President, Terri Lee Rogers, has won the 2014 Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award in the manufacturing category.
The Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards program was founded in 2003 to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the Inland Empire’s top entrepreneurial business leaders. Since that time, the award has honored more than 250 entrepreneurs as finalists and awarded 100 entrepreneurs.
Members of the community joined the finalists and their family and friends for an award gala held at the newly renovated Riverside Convention Center in California. The 760 guests enjoyed food and entertainment before the awards were announced. During her acceptance speech, Terri thanked her family and employees, and dedicated the award to her parents and grandparents, the founders of OW Lee.
“I am just so honored to be recognized with this award. It means so much, especially to have won in the manufacturing category, because we take so much pride in our processes and facility,” said Rogers. Rogers joins many other winners from companies such as Chino Valley Ranchers, Boudreau Pipeline Corporation and Universal Surveillance Systems, LLC.
OW Lee was founded in 1947 in Pasadena, Calif. They are one of the few remaining companies in the outdoor furniture industry that still manufacture in the USA.
