Terri Lee Rogers has been chosen as a finalist in the award program, which recognizes the accomplishments of top entrepreneurial business leaders.
OW Lee, a manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture, fire pits, and accessories located in Ontario, Calif., has announced its President Terri Lee Rogers was chosen as a finalist for the 2014 Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award.
The Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards program was founded in 2003 to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the Inland Empire’s top entrepreneurial business leaders. Since that time, the award has honored more than 250 entrepreneurs as finalists and bestowed the coveted Spirit Award to 100 entrepreneurs.
Finalists were chosen during an afternoon reception of networking where Rogers gave a 60-second presentation on OW Lee and interviewed with a series of judges.
“I am so honored to be a finalist for this very prestigious award in the Inland Empire community,” said Rogers. “I hope to win this award and dedicate it to my grandfather, Oddist W Lee, who was the ultimate OW Lee entrepreneur.”
Terri joins many other esteemed finalists from companies such as Chino Valley Ranchers, Boudreau Pipeline Corporation and Universal Surveillance Systems, LLC. In total, 27 finalists were chosen representing nine categories of awards from a pool of more than 130 nominees. The final Spirit of the Entrepreneur award winner will be announced at a black tie gala affair on November 13 at the Riverside Convention Center.
OW Lee was founded in 1947 in Pasadena, Calif., and manufactures heirloom quality products in Ontario, Calif. They are one of the few remaining companies in the outdoor furniture industry that still manufacture in the USA.
