StoneWater Golf Club in Highland Heights, Ohio is partnering with GolfRoots to host its first Golf Club Trade-In Day on August 27. A popular event at the private clubs, StoneWater is opening this for the first time to the general public. Set up near the Linksman Golf Academy building at StoneWater, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
GolfRoots will appraise clubs on the spot in exchange for StoneWater gift cards, which can be used for anything from new clubs, to pro shop merchandise, to rounds of golf, lessons or even a StoneWater membership.
While there, visitors are encouraged to check out the latest fitting technology at Linksman Academy. Anyone who trades in clubs that day will also receive a free club fitting at the Linksman Golf Academy. Appointments can be scheduled that day while professionals capture a few swings using state-of-the-art Trackman technology in one of the bays with the latest from Callaway, Ping, TaylorMade and Titleist. The fee (up to a $250 value) will be totally waived with the purchase of new clubs.
“We are excited to partner with GolfRoots in offering every golfer the opportunity to trade in golf clubs and potentially get new, properly fit clubs,” said Bryan Huff, StoneWater Head Golf Professional. “Many outdated clubs don’t allow for consistent play. Having the right clubs can enhance anyone’s game by hitting longer and straighter, thus bringing down scores.”
