OB Sports Golf Management announced it has assumed club management duties for Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. The former host of the Greater Greensboro Open from 1977 through 2007, OB Sports will oversee all golf and club operations for the facility.
“We look forward to working with an iconic club with such a rich tradition,” said Phil Green, Chief Operating Officer of OB Sports. “Our priority is to serve the outstanding membership at the club, and all of our guests, by bringing back the quality of Forest Oaks to its historic roots as a PGA TOUR tournament host for 30 years.”
“We are proud to welcome OB Sports to partner with Forest Oaks Country Club,” said General Manager Anthony Miller.
OB Sports plans on updating menus at the Champions Grill restaurant with many delicious favorites, as well as adding fun events to the Active Members Event Calendar, including events for the whole family. The pool is also an important part of the club experience and is now open for the membership to use and enjoy.
“OB Sports is committed to helping the Club restore its premium conditions, as well as working with the Greensboro community to make Forest Oaks a destination for spectacular golf and special events,” said Green. “Forest Oaks will be open for limited non-member play.”
