The North Augusta (S.C.) Country Club says it has been vandalized again, marking the third time in the last month that the property has been damaged. The club is trying to build a new clubhouse after a fire last year. But now, according to a report on www.wrdw.com, it has had to put unexpected money into fixing the damage from constant vandals, instead of building the clubhouse.
The damages from the latest incident included a mangled fence, a torn-apart driving range ball-picker, and a number of golf carts that were pushed into the course’s ponds.
In all, the club says the damage from all three incidents has now totaled about $15,000.
