Dunedin Mayor Dave Eggers to headline ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Dunedin (Fla.) Stirling Links—formerly St. Andrew’s Links—will host a three-day Grand Re-opening Weekend Friday, April 1 through Sunday, April 3 commemorating the recent name change.
Dunedin Mayor Dave Eggers, the Commissioners and other City officials will be on-hand Friday, April 1 at 11:30 a.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to kick-off the weekend.
During the three-day celebration, the course, managed by Billy Casper Golf, will offer discounted greens fees ($9 on Friday, $10 on Saturday and $11 on Sunday), complimentary food, free PGA golf clinics on Friday and Saturday at noon, and drawings for merchandise.
“We’re thrilled the Mayor and the City Commissioners are participating in this event,” says Drew Petersen, General Manager of Dunedin Stirling Links. “Our staff looks forward to welcoming golfers from the local community.”
