The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has selected KemperSports, a leading golf, sports, entertainment and hospitality company, to manage Lake of Isles in North Stonington, Conn.
KemperSports’ focus at Lake of Isles will be to leverage its experience working with other tribal nations across the country and managing some of America’s premier golf destinations to elevate Lake of Isles’ national reputation as a first-class golf club and resort by delivering TrueService to members and guests while also enhancing member engagement at the private member South Course.

KemperSports’ leader concurred with Butler.

Opened in 2005, Lake of Isles is a 36-hole Rees Jones-designed golf club owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and located adjacent to Foxwoods Resort Casino. The North Course, a public resort course open to daily-fee golfers and Foxwood Resort Casino guests, and the South Course, a private member course, wind their way through 900 acres of wooded Connecticut countryside and around a 90-acre lake.
The two courses feature rolling terrain, island greens and tees, and views within a natural landscape. In addition to the two courses, amenities include a 50,000-sq.-foot clubhouse and a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor golf academy and practice facility.
Both Lake of Isles courses have also earned national recognition since opening.
