The municipal golf course in Harleysville, Pa. is transitioning from Billy Casper Golf, which has managed the property since 2004, to join 26 other courses in the Brown Golf portfolio.
Lower Salford Township in Montgomery, Pa., has selected Brown Golf to manage Lederach Golf Club in Harleysville, Pa. Lederach, which was previously managed by Billy Casper Golf from 2004 to 2018, will transition to Camp Hill, Pa.-based Brown Golf on January 1, 2019.
Located 33 miles from center-city Philadelphia in suburban Montgomery County, Pa., Lederach GC features a par-71, 18-hole layout with tees positioned for all skill levels and back tees stretching to 7,025 yards. The golf course and features property undulations, scenic ridges and sweeping valleys.
“The links feel of Lederach, coupled with the distinct property features, gives the course the perfect balance to offer an incredible daily-fee golf experience,” said John Brown, CEO of Brown Golf.
Brown’s portfolio now includes 27 golf courses located in seven states, including Vermont, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Missouri and Florida in addition to Pennsylvania. Lederach will be the third municipal golf course in the Brown Golf portfolio, and as part of the Brown Golf network, Lederach members will have full reciprocity with other Brown Golf facilities.
Brown Golf services include acquisition, leasing and consulting, in addition to third-party management.
