Troon will oversee the golf, restaurant, spa and club operations for the Bullhead, Ariz. property with an 18-hole, David Druzisky-designed golf course. Laughlin Ranch was acquired in 2017 by The Mariner Family and has already implemented a variety of improvements.
Laughlin Ranch Golf Club in Bullhead, Ariz. has selected Troon to manage its golf, restaurant, spa and club operations.
Established in 2002, Laughlin Ranch GC features an 18-hole, David Druzisky-designed golf course, dining, and spa services at The Spa at Laughlin Ranch. The golf course plays to a par of 72 and measures 7,155 yards from the back tees and features dramatic elevation changes, wide fairways and generously sized greens.
The property overlooks the Colorado River Valley with spectacular views of the Colorado River, Laughlin, Nev.’s casino strip across the river, and the nearby Black Mountains. The club’s restaurant offers guests both patio and indoor-dining options that take advantage of the golf course and river views.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Troon to continue fulfilling our vision for Laughlin Ranch Golf Club,” said The Mariner Family, owners of Laughlin Ranch GC, in an announcement about the selection of the management firm. “Troon is the proven leader in club management and the ideal organization to provide our club with the expertise to elevate our premier experience to even greater heights.”
In 2017, The Mariner Family acquired the golf course, clubhouse, restaurant and spa from IMH Financial Corporation. In the year-plus since the acquisition, the new ownership has made numerous club and course enhancements aimed at improving the guest experience, including a new air-conditioning system for the clubhouse; plumbing repairs; new equipment in the restaurant and spa; and a new fleet of golf cars.
“Laughlin Ranch is a hidden gem among Arizona golf courses,” said Mitch Harrell, President, Troon Golf. “The golf course and amenities are outstanding. Troon is looking forward to working with ownership and the on-site team to further elevate operations, food and beverage, agronomy and the overall experience.”
