The Club Foundation has announced the 2013 recipients of its LaRocca Family Executive Scholarship. Robert Josey, CCM, from The Country Club in Pepper Pike, Ohio, and Daniel Cooper, CCM, from The Springs Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif., will receive the tuition costs and travel expenses to attend their choice of one of the elective-level Business Management Institutes presented by the CMAA.
The Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization established by the Club Managers Association of America, has announced the 2013 recipients of its LaRocca Family Executive Scholarship.
The Club Foundation established the LaRocca Family Executive Scholarship in honor of the family’s commitment to professional development and to recognize their continued support of The Club Foundation. This scholarship provides financial support to club managers interested in professional development, as well as helping others achieve their career goals. Recipients receive the tuition costs and travel expenses to attend their choice of one of the elective-level Business Management Institutes presented by the CMAA.
A second mentoring component of this scholarship allows the recipient to designate funds for a manager that they are mentoring to be used for their choice of CMAA dues (both national and chapter), a full registration and travel expenses to attend a CMAA World Conference and Club Business Expo or a full registration and travel expenses to attend a CMAA Leadership/ Legislative Conference.
