The seafood provider’s spicy recipe contest will feature its Mrs. Friday’s Krabbycakes®. The winning recipe will earn $250 and must be submitted through the company’s website before October 31.
In response to a 19% increase in spicy seafood dishes on menus in the past two years, King and Prince Seafood has announced the “Spice it Up” recipe contest featuring its product, Mrs. Friday’s Krabbycakes®. For a chance to win $250, entrants should submit their best spicy Krabbycakes® recipe before October 31, 2013.
Krabbycakes were the first of their kind in the market, and 25 years later, continue to hold their place as the leading seafood cake. In a blind taste test, Krabbycakes beat the competition 3 to 1. Made with real snow crab meat, high quality surimi seafood, real butter, fresh cream, and coated in light, Panko breadcrumbs, Krabbycakes deliver true flavor consumers love. Versatile, savory, and convenient, they are ideal for a wide range of menu applications.
“This contest will showcase how creative our customers can be by spicing up an original, Krabbycakes,” said Mike Tigani, Director of Marketing.
