Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio is kicking off its Centennial Project, with construction beginning August 2014.
The club’s membership approved the multi-million dollar project. The golf portion of the plan includes a new driving range, golf practice area, indoor practice facility, three new holes on the Kenview golf course, new forward tees on the Kendale golf course, and a lake project between the two courses, all under the guidance of longtime General Manager and COO, Kraig A. Kanitz, CCM.
The clubhouse will see an expansion on the lower level to include a fitness facility, men’s lounge, and ladies’ lounge. The men’s locker room will be fully renovated and a Traditions room will be added. A dining terrace will also be added to the south side of the clubhouse, which will overlook a three-season pavilion, a competition-size swimming pool with diving well and zero-entry pool, and a new poolhouse and a snack shack.
The pool, outdoor spaces, as well as all golf course renovations will be complete by Memorial Day 2015. The lower level addition and remodel will be finished by September 2015.
